College Description

Mankar is situated at Burdwan / Bardhaman District in west Bengal . It is Know as Gate-way of Jungle – Mahal . There are many village sourrending the village Mankar and most of the in habitants are scheduled Tribe & scheduled caste community .They are very poor and their children’s are deprived from the vocational Training at Govt . ITIs due to their poor result. To give chance to the middle class. Poor merited students of the locelaty in the Vocational training course , the Mankar Private I.T.I stated from the August Session 2011 with a trade “ Surveyor “ with two unites . ( one unit = 21 trainees ). There are young and energetve faculties and they are staying beside the Institute to trained the trainees by hand their normal duty hours. As a result all the trainees in the session 2011-2013 successfully completed the trainees course . Most of them are in Job at different cstellishments. MES course are also running at the Institute and some of them are working at different places with utmost integrity and sincerity . At present the following courses are goining on at Mankar Private I.T.I I) Surveyor in three Units. II) Electrician in two Units. Note : there is every possibility to start the “ Fitter “ trade in three Unites & one Unit of Electrtician from the coming session.
