Fransalian Technical Institute, fondly called as FTI, started in 1975 and is manned my MSFS (Missionaries of St. Francis De Sales) Fathers and Brothers. From the time of its inception, FTI faithfully continues to be the cradle of formation of disadvantaged and poor youth of India in formal and non-formal technical education. The institute trains them in trades viz.: Fitter and Turner for industrial needs. Both these trades are formal and government recognized. Apart from this the institute also aims at school dropouts and give them non-formal technical training.
