College Description

Cacora Govt.Industrial Training institute was Started in the year 1991 by Merging ITI-CURCHOREM and ITI-SANGUEM. This Industrial Training Institute was initially set up under the Craftsmen Training Scheme in Goa is now also a Centre of Excellence in the Automobile Sector under the World Bank Funding (VOCATIONAL TRAINING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT) which is Started in the year 2009. These Schemes are affiliated to National/State Council for Vocational training (NCVT/SCVT), New Delhi/Goa through the Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGE&T), in the Ministry of Labour, Government of India, New Delhi. This Institute imparts training in engineering and non-engineering trades, as per the syllabus and curriculum approved by Government of India in consultation with the National/State Council for Vocational training (NCVT/SCVT), New Delhi/Goa.
